Tom Armstrong has served executives in developing tax efficient strategies related to retirement and estate planning for over 20 years. As a CPA and CFP, Tom served as managing partner of a public accounting firm for 10 years and developed specialized expertise in the design and administration of non qualified supplemental executive benefits.

In 2005, Tom successfully negotiated the sale of the accounting practice and now works exclusively serving community banks and bankers to utilize executive benefit strategies to address key strategic objectives relating to succession planning, recruitment and retention.

Tom also has expertise related to the implementation and optimization of BOLI portfolios utilized to offset long term employment related expenses. As partner of Bank Financial Services Group, Tom heads up the central Midwest region serving community banks in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.

Chad began his career in the BFS Central regional office working through college. After switching Majors Chad decided to take some personal time and serve his Country by enlisting in the United States Army. While stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State, he deployed in 2011 to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

After time served in the Army and relocating back to the Midwest, Chad was excited to become part of the Bank Financial Services family. Over the last 3 years Chad has continued to develop relationships across the Midwest region and is an active member in the Michigan Bankers Association, Community Bankers of Michigan, Community Bankers Association of Illinois, Illinois Bankers Association, Illinois League of Financial Institutions, Indiana Bankers Association, and Ohio Bankers League.
