Bill has been in the financial services and community banking industries for almost 30 years.  He has been a business-owner and industry leader for over 25 years.  Bill founded IFS, Inc. (Financial Planning for business-owners) in 1985 and created BFSG (Executive & Director benefit plans and financing strategies) in 1998.  He has earned national recognition in the community and regional bank markets as a leader, speaker, and author on executive & director supplemental benefits and BOLI financing strategies.  Bill is a regular speaker at business and sales conferences on the topics of “Thinking Big” and “Sales Performance”.

After developing BFSG into the leading provider of bank benefits & BOLI in the Northeast, Bill expanded the company nationally in 2003.  BFSG now has 11 Regional Offices in the U.S., including Newport Beach, CA, Boston, MA, and Minneapolis, MN.  Bill has 5 sons (ages 13-26) and two twin daughters. He has been actively involved in youth sports & coaching for many years, including soccer, hockey, wrestling, and Pop Warner football.  Bill and his wife, Tricia, have been actively involved in community charitable activities, including providing college scholarships to Princeton High School student-athletes through the Princeton Education Foundation, funding projects with Habitat for Humanity, major contributors to The Princeton Ballet Company and Wounded Warriors Project, and as a Board Member and major contributor to Christine’s Hope for Kids Foundation.


Dan Barbaree

In 2013, Dan was announced President of BFS Group; he joined BFS in February of 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer after spending 8 years in the Financial and IT business.  As CFO/COO Dan proved to be an integral part in the development and growth of BFS Group’s national sales team and back office support in Newtown.  Prior to joining BFS, Dan was the Senior Financial Manager for the Home Equity and Capital Markets IT businesses at JPMorgan Chase overseeing $150 million dollars in expense and 350 resources.  Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Dan worked as a consultant working with various financial and technology companies in the Tri-State area. Dan is licensed for life and health insurance in over 40 States and also holds his Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses.


Richard Pearson

Rich is a graduate of Lehigh University, class of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems. Prior to joining BFS in April 2006, he has held positions with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as the Client Services Support Leader and with The Vanguard Group as a Web Support Specialist. Since joining BFS, Rich has worked in various departments including roles within the Benefit Analysts and Client Services groups. In October of 2014, Rich was appointed Chief Administrative Officer overseeing all BFS Network Department Operations including processes related to compliance, new business, and benefit plan servicing.


Tara Bianchino

Tara joined BFS Group with over 15 years of insurance & financial services experience, and before joining BFS Group, Tara served as the Director of Network Office Supervision for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Princeton, NJ. She brings along her knowledge of compliance with Northwestern Mutual's policies and procedures to BFS Group. Tara has also worked in operations for several firms including BlackRock and Merrill Lynch. Tara is life, health, and variable lines licensed, as well as property & casualty licensed. She also holds a Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 as securities registrations.
